To ensure we continue providing high‑quality, attentive, and ethically grounded care, our practice reviews fees annually. While we evaluate costs each year, fee adjustments typically occur every two years. This schedule allows us to maintain sustainable operations while keeping increases predictable and manageable for clients.

When a fee change is made, current clients receive advance written notice and a grace period to support financial planning and continuity of care. We are committed to communicating transparently and respectfully about any updates.

We understand that financial considerations are an important part of treatment, and we welcome open conversations about fees, planning, or any concerns that may arise. Our goal is to maintain a practice that is both sustainable while continuing to offer the level of support, presence, and clinical excellence that our clients deserve.

Insurance

Annapolis CBT is considered an out-of-network nonparticipating provider. This means that we do not accept insurance but you may be reimbursed by your insurance should you have out-of-network benefits. A superbill is provided for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. You are required to check with your insurance to see if our services are covered and payment is due at the time of service.

Cancelation

We require 48 hours notice for cancellation, even if you or your child is home sick. If you’re unable to come into the office, we can do a phone session or a video session (phone sessions usually aren’t reimbursable by insurance, but video sessions maybe), or can use the time for a parent consultation session.

We all get sick! I have previously worked in a hospital and college with long commutes, so we know how germs get passed around. That being said, my most important goal is maintaining clinical progress. If you start to feel sick more than 48 hours before our appointment, let us know and we will take you off the schedule. It’s a lot easier for us to fit in another client who needs to meet when you give us enough advanced notice.

In the case where your therapist is sick or cancels, you will be informed and won’t be expected to pay for that missed session.
